Mudi and the Canadian Kennel Club

The goal of the Mudi Association of Canada is to promote, educate, and perserve the Mudi in Canada.  We are moving forward to achieve full recognition by the Canadian Kennel Club.

The Mudi was accepted into the Miscellaneous Class of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) in 2003.

The Mudi was voted onto the "new" Miscellaneous List in December 2006.  After three years the mudi will apply for full breed recognition.

The Mudi can compete in Canadian Kennel Club performance events, such as agility, herding, scent hurdle and obedience, as well as, show for points, breed, group, BIS and earn Championships.

The Mudi is in Group 7 (herding group).
